October’s Art Salon at the Corcoran is in one week! Between now and then, get to know a few of our contributing artists:
Tim Conlon is truly a product of his environment. This talented local artist frequently examines the complexity of urban living in his art: his forte lies in his ability to find captivating subjects in unlikely places. Not surprising then, is the immediate draw Conlon felt to Edward Burtynsky‘s visual timeline of the world’s oil dependence in his current exhibit at the Corcoran, Edward Burtynsky: Oil, a decided presentation of the beauty of decay.
To continue the visual dialogue started by Conlon and Burtynsky, attend our montly Art Salon at the Corcoran on Oct. 29.
RSVP by Oct. 29 to dccahevents@gmail.com.
