DC Commission on the Arts & Humanities
Public Input Session
September 29, 2009
6:30-8:30 p.m.
1371 Harvard Street, NW
Basement Level, Pepco meeting room
The DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities is currently crafting its next strategic plan. AMS Planning & Research, a national arts management consulting firm, has been engaged by the Commission to assist in this endeavor.
The next important step in the process is to open the dialogue to DC Citizens who care about the arts in our community. At this Public Input session, we’ll talk about central themes that have emerged from our research to date, show you how things are being done in other relevant communities, and ask you to tell us your thoughts regarding three key areas: support of artists and arts organization, arts education, and arts advocacy.
We greatly value the opinion of the citizens of DC, and we hope you’ll stop by!
