“Windows” to our Art

Yesterday’s Windows into DC ribbon cutting event was a HUGE success! The ribbon cutting included remarks by Mayor Fenty, Ward 2 Councilman Jack Evans, Convention Center CEO/GM Gregory O’Dell, and DCCAH Executive Director Gloria Nauden. Mayor Fenty even lent a hand to help the New Community Center for Children students:

The event continued with a walking tour of all of the works on 7th, M & 9th Streets. Fenty and guests were able to mingle with the artists involved in the project.
