The Fridge, DC’s latest arts venue, is featuring two grantees in the next week:
Decoy, a street artist involved in the Edgewood Mural Project, has a new show up: Memento Mori. The artist reflects back on a lifetime of Catholic schooling without hostility. There is no sarcasm and no “Jesus is my Homeboy” mentality. Instead, the theme focuses on Catholicism’s role in art throughout history as well as in the artist’s personal life. The exhibit runs until October 10, you don’t want to miss it!

On Tuesday, October 6 at 7:00, The Sweater Set performs at the Fridge. This duo, comprised of Maureen Andary and Sara Curtin, has been singing and making music since they were kids. They are talented on multiple instruments, and their sweet sounds are a perfect combination for live music performances. Check them out on Tuesday!
