In his recent solo exhibition The Sickness III, Aniekan Udofia told the story of the impact of television on his creative process. A dramatic divergence from his usual work, Aniekan found an immediate kinship with the work of Edward Burtynsky and his photographic account of oil and the consequences of its use. Join Aniekan as he embarks on another journey to discover the social commentary in Edward Burtynsky: Oil at the Corcoran.

To discover the bond between Aniekan and Burtynsky, attend our Art Salon at the Corcoran, Recycled Meaning: Oil and Water on Oct. 29.

RSVP by Oct. 29 to dccahevents@gmail.com.
