Takoma Underpass Needs Your Input!

Five semi-finalists have been selected, now it’s your turn…

DC Creates! Public Art of DCCAH wants your input on the Takoma Metro Underpass project. Semi-finalists Sam Gilliam, Cheryl Foster, City Arts, Inc., Mixed Up Mosaics (NY), and Myklebust + Sears (WI) have been selected to activate the space. The five were selected by DC Creates! Public Art,  the Washington Area Metropolitan Transit Authority’s Art in Transit Program and the Takoma community; but now it’s your turn–give us your feedback!

The semi-finalists proposals will be on display at the Takoma Public Library for a community open house on Thursday, November 19th, 2009 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm.

The models will remain on display at the library from 8:30am – 5:30pm on Friday, November 20th.
