Call For Artists: The Urban Forest Project

Go Green this spring with The Urban Forest Project!

Over 100 street banners by local designers and students will be ‘planted’ this spring in downtown DC. Each banner will use the form of or metaphor for a tree to make a powerful visual statement about the environment.  The banners will be displayed in downtown DC  in celebration of Arbor and Earth Days.

Designs are due January 8, 2010 and may be downloaded here.

DCCAH is proud to present this project, conceived by Worldstudio, in collaboration with the District Department of Transportation (DDOT), AIGA DC and Corcoran College of Art and Design.
