The Dream has Come: Dreamgirls at The Duke Ellington School of the Arts

CREATIVE.

EXCITING.

PHENOMENAL.

These are just of few of the words that describe the Duke Ellington’s School of the Arts (DESA) all-school production of Broadway’s Dreamgirls. The show runs 14 nights, from December 2-18, and has over 350 costumes with a cast of various students from several departments at DESA. This event is one that you do not want to miss. Not to mention, every night is themed after a department. Each arts field can show what contribution they made towards Dreamgirls, from a gallery showing to a dedicated student published magazine, DESA’s Dreamgirls introduces the arts to the community like never seen before.  GALA night on December 9th will be attended by original Dreamgirl, Jennifer Holiday. The first curtain goes up tomorrow, will you be there? To purchase individual and group tickets, call the Ellington Box Office at 202-337-4825 or visit the school’s website at www.ellingtonschool.org.
