From Jail to Yale: Serving Time on Stage

The U.S. Dream Academy presents “From Jail to Yale: Serving Time on Stage” starring Emmy award winning actor, Charles S. Dutton, in partnership with The Duke Ellington School of Arts.  The play chronicles Mr. Dutton’s real life from serving time in jail for manslaughter to graduating from The Yale School of Drama and  becoming the award winning actor and producer we all know him as today.   Mr. Dutton is best known for the miniseries “The Corner”, tv sitcom “Roc”, “Gothika”, “Aliens 3”, “Rudy”, and more.  Mr. Dutton is doing this 10-city tour for free and all proceeds are donated to US Dream Academy programs for children of incarcerated parents and at-risk youth.  The 10-city tour stops in Washington, DC on Monday, March 28th & Tuesday, March 29th at 7:30pm at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Terrace Theater located at 2700 F Street NW, Washington, DC 20566 (  Please visit for more information.

Tickets sales range from $50 – $150 per person as well as special group rates available online at Tickets will also be available at the John F.
