We’re looking for beta testers!

DCCAH is looking for 20 individuals or artist organizations to help us beta test our new Artist Index on Friday, June 3, 2011. There will be two testing sessions, 10am – 12pm and 1pm – 3pm, occurring at the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities office. 1371 Harvard St. NW, WDC 20009.

The Artist Index is an online registry of artists living in DC, as well as artist or arts organizations whose principal business location is in the District. The Index is free and open to all DC residents who consider themselves to be artists (visual, dance, theatre, music, etc.) regardless of skill level. Participants will be included in the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities’ first registry of artists, which will also be accessible to the general public.

If you are interested, please send an email to dccahevents@gmail.com and specify which session you would like to attend. The first 20 applicants will receive a response email to confirm their session. Applicants not selected for the first beta test, will be compiled for the second round of testing to occur in mid-June.
