Extended deadlines for GIA and IAG until 11:59pm Wednesday, August 31, 2011

DEADLINES FOR APPLICATIONS TO INDIVIDUAL ARTIST GRANT AND GRANTS-IN-AID PROGRAMS EXTENDED TO WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 31, 2011 AT 11:59 P.M.

In response to power outages and delays occurring as a result of this weekend’s hurricane, the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities has extended application deadlines for the Individual Artist Grant and Grants-In-Aid grant programs to Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 11:59 p.m. in an effort to accommodate individuals and organizations unable to complete and/or submit their applications on-time.  The deadline extension also allows applicants who have previously submitted their materials to these programs to revisit their online application and make changes if necessary.  All remaining application deadlines will remain the same.

Director of Grants and Legislative Affairs, Moshe Adams stated, “The DC Commission on Arts and Humanities continues to monitor the application process in consideration of the unusual stresses put on our applicants due to the power outages throughout the weekend.  We’re pleased to announce this final extension to the applicant pool and consider these deadlines fixed and final for the FY 12 grant year.”

All applications are due at 11:59 pm on the deadline date. The deadlines for all remaining FY12 grant applications are as follows:
