2011 National Endowment for the Arts Opera Honors Award Ceremony

Takes Place Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 7:30 PM

at the Harman Center for the Arts, 610 F St. NW

The NEA Opera Honors is the nation’s highest award in opera. The 2011 honorees are John Conklin, stage designer; Speight Jenkins, general director; Risë Stevens, mezzo soprano; and Robert Ward, composer. The event will feature video tributes, guest artist appearances, and an onstage conversation with the honorees.
